CEO Flemming Bengtsen joins the panel at the InsurTech Conference | London

An event not to be missed in the world of technological innovation, The Insurtech Conference this Friday 22nd September 2017 hosted at Shoreditch Town Hall is full to the brim of big names and market shakers. Our very own Flemming Bengtsen will be joining a bunch of exceptional CEO’s, Tim Attia from Slice, Chris Butcher from Ambant Underwriting, Dylan Bourguignon from So-sure to be precise, as well as partner engagement manager Jennyfer Yeung-Williams of our partner, Munich Re Digital Partners. The discussion will be hosted by Christopher Sandilands of Oxbow Partners, partner and owner of the lovely info-graphic above (Link to Oxbow partners blog here: )  The Hype vs Impact talk on the main stage will be kicking off at 10.00am is bound to get some feathers riled. With the likes of Audi, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla and Volvo already tackling the concept of self-driving cars, are Insurance companies right to be buying into the hype?  What will drones do for retail insurance? With so many questions up in the air it will be interesting to hear what our panelists think are topics worth debating, or just a bunch of hot air.

Stephen Catlin, Chairman of Munich Re Digital, will also be discussing the opportunity for insurance and where to find it in emerging markets at 2pm on the Main Stage, expect the crowd to be full of young budding entrepreneurs. You will find me trying to squeeze in the IoT, blockchain and AI at 11.40.

Make sure to follow us to get our thoughts on the event next week and don’t hold back in sending any questions directly to my email. Happy to answer them all and hopefully see you at the event.
